Project Detail

Under the backdrop of the famous Saint Mary’s Abbey, the attractive wooden playground in Trim has lots of slides and castle and drawbridge-style climbing equipment. A rope-lattice roundabout lets the older kids go as high as they dare, while smaller children can hang out of the lower rungs. There’s also a sensory wall, spring rockets, a zipline, seesaw, slides – one of which is built into a hill – and an enormous king’s/ queen’s chair.

In order to keep these toddlers and pre-teens safe, Mulligan Fencing supplied and installed 1.2mtr high V-Guard Weldmesh panel fence, including excavation of foundations and concreting in fence posts. We also supplied and installed pedestrian metal self-closing gates ensuring greater safety for the kids from the roadside.

As a result, this playground is one of the best playgrounds in the county with children from around the surrounding area enjoying the fun and safe environment.
